About

A life spent in the woods, and a bench to show for it

Get to know the hands your animal will be in — one taxidermist, one shop, and a promise I make to every hunter.

I started my taxidermy journey at just 14 years old, mounting my own deer and working on animals from family hunts. What started as a hobby quickly became something much bigger. I taught myself the ins and outs of the craft through years of hands-on experience, trial and error, and a constant drive to improve. Over time, I expanded my work from whitetails into small mammals, large game, birds, and more. The one exception to my self-taught journey was birds. In 2025, I attended the week-long Waterfowl & Upland Bird class at Adventure Bound School of Taxidermy located in Wagoner, Oklahoma, where I built on my experience and learned the specialized techniques that go into quality bird taxidermy. I've hunted my entire life, and I honestly couldn't see myself doing anything else. Taxidermy gives me the opportunity to combine two things I love — hunting and working with my hands — while helping other hunters preserve the memories behind their biggest moments in the field.

In August 2026, I attended the Missouri Taxidermist Association convention in Columbia, Missouri, where I spent three days in seminars taught by some of the best taxidermists in the Midwest. I learned a ton to advance my work, and I'll be starting my taxidermy competition career in 2027.

I truly love what I do, and I take pride in treating every trophy that comes through my shop like it matters. Every animal has a story behind it, whether it's a first deer, a hard-earned elk, a memorable bird, or a trophy that took years to finally put your tag on. My goal is to create a mount that not only looks great, but does justice to the animal and the memory that came with it. I'm proud to put my name on every piece of work I do, and I appreciate every customer who trusts me with something that means more than just a set of antlers, feathers, or a hide.
